On the 24th of February the Institute for Rural Development (IRD) hosted a roundtable under the Replicable Methods of Improvement of Rural Water Supplies and Sanitation Project funded by the UK Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs. The roundtable took place in the Big Conference Hall of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv).

The Institute for Rural Development invites all interested persons to a “Round Table” on Innovative Models of Rural Water Supply and WatercourseDecontamination to present results of the DEFRA funded Replicable Methods of Improvement of Rural Water Supplies and Sanitation Project.

17 February, within the framework of dissemination of successful pilot water supply and sanitation activities conducted in Odesa and Kyiv oblasts under the Replicable Methods of Improvement of Rural Water Supplies and Sanitation Project a round table took place in the house of the Luhansk Oblast State Administration.

On February 10, 2006, a regional round table “Innovative methods to solve water supply and sanitation problems” was held in Donetsk to present the results of the water supply project in Odessa oblast and the watercourse decontamination project in Kyiv oblast implemented with the financial support of the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).

On February 3, 2005, a round table took place in the House of Scientists, Odesa, to discuss the outputs of the Water Supply and Sanitation Project implemented in the village of Velykoploske, Velyka Mykhaylivka rayon in Odesa oblast with the financial support of the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).

This is the title of a new Institute for Rural Development publication produced under the DEFRA funded Replicable Methods of Improvement of Rural Water Supplies and Sanitation Project.

26 January 2006, a round table on “Summary and Dissemination of Approach of the Replicable Methods of Improvement of Rural Water Supplies and Sanitation” was held in the premises of the Bila Tserkva Rayon State Administration. The roundtable was devoted to the DEFRA funded project of the same name.

13 December 2005, a Round Table “ Urgent issues and replicable models of rural small business development as a mechanism to overcome unemployment and generate income for the rural population” took place in the Luhansk Oblast State Administration Offices.

A water supply system is about to be launched in the village of Velykoploske, Velyka Mykhaylivka rayon in Odesa oblast.

A new brochure, “Aspects of TPAC (Third Party Arbitration Court) Activities in the Rural Areas” is off the press.
