The Institute for Rural Development invites all interested persons to a “Round Table” on Innovative Models of Rural Water Supply and WatercourseDecontamination to present results of the DEFRA funded Replicable Methods of Improvement of Rural Water Supplies and Sanitation Project.
The round table will be held on Friday, February 24, 2006 and will begin at 10.00 a.m. in the Big Conference Hall of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, (3rd floor), 55, Volodymyrska Street, Kyiv.
Leading Ukrainian and international experts, scientists, representatives from national and regional authorities and media are invited to attend the event. The agenda includes the presentation of new water supply and watercourse decontamination models that have been implemented in Odesa and Kyiv oblasts and discussion of their advantages and disadvantages as well as extension possibilities to other regions in Ukraine.
