A new TACIS project to support the Ukrainian private sector’s development, ”SME Support Services in Priority Regions”, was launched by the European Commission in May 2006.
The Project is implemented by the consortium representing three countries, i.e. GFA Consulting Group (Germany), PEM GmbH (Germany), Polish EPRD Office, and the Institute for Rural Development (lRD) (Ukraine).
Project objectives:
• to support the development of a policy environment conducive for SME growth ;
• to stimulate the SME consultancy market;
• to introduce innovative SME support tools while strengthening existing facilities.
The Project is implemented in Zhytomyr, Chernihiv and Rivne regions.
Project completion date is December 2007.
