ICP expert Roman Korinets took part in the Conference: “Ukraine, European Union, Russia: Challenges and Opportunities for New Relations” that took place on 10-11 February 2005 and was hosted by the ICP’s partner National Association of Regional Development Agencies (www.narda.org.ua).
The keynote idea of presentations and discussions was “Ukraine after the changes: new priorities for the new leadership”. The issues included European neighbourhood policy and CIS integration, relations between Ukraine and other countries in search of a balanced action programme, trans-boundary co-operation, business and investment in the new Ukraine. Famous Ukrainian politicians, diplomats, top officials from Ukraine and other countries, scientists, businessmen, representatives from international and public organizations attended the Conference. The Conference was initiated and organized by the EastWest Institute, in co-operation with the Carpathian Foundation and the Ukrainian partners: the Institute for Regional and Euro-Integration Studies “EuroRegio Ukraine” and the National Association of Regional Development Agencies.
